Description
As a Truck Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers satisfaction by ensuring a timely, safe, and professional delivery of the products they ordered from us.
Core Responsibility:
- Safely operate and drive assigned delivery trucks, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Transport bakery products from our distribution center to various customer locations within the designated route.
- Load and unload bakery goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of products.
- Perform routine pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle and report any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date delivery logs and records.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team, warehouse personnel, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any concerns.
Qualification
Qualification:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL Truck Driver, preferably in the food or bakery industry.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing the transportation of goods.
- Ability to lift and move heavy bakery products, as well as operate equipment for loading and unloading.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with GPS and electronic logging devices.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
